World Memory Project – Yes, That’s My Father!

Sol Finkelstein and his family were among the countless victims of the devastating impact of the Holocaust during World War II. Like many others who suffered under Nazi persecution, Sol had been separated from his father and had not seen a photograph of him since before the war. However, thanks to the efforts of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and, Sol was finally able to see an image of his father again. The discovery of an I.D. card with his father's photo was a powerful moment for Sol and his family, and the emotional impact of this experience was captured by Impatient Cow Productions. While the project was undoubtedly challenging due to the difficult subject matter, the opportunity to document such a significant moment in Sol's life was a rewarding experience for all involved.
